What is Armwrestling?
Many recognize the sport of Armwrestling (also often referred to as Arm Wrestling) from Youtube and often from matches from WAL (World Armwrestling League), which is a popular event in the United States with many famous armwrestlers. Well-known names in the sport include John Brzenk, Devon Larratt, Michael Todd, Vitaly Laletin, Levan Saginashvili, Krasimir Kostadinov, Denis Cyplenkov, Dmitry Trubin, Andrey Pushkar (died in car accident 2018), Oleg Zhokh, Alexey Voevoda, Travis Bagent & Ron Bath, to mention some names.
The list could be made much longer, as there are plenty of elite level Armwrestlers that have become known over time.
John Brzenk is the one armwrestler that is usually referred to as G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time), as he has a career spanning more than 30 years where he has been mostly undefeated. No other armwrestler has managed to stay in the top for such a long time.
Devon Larratt is also a well-known armwrestler, that probably more people outside the sports knows about, which is mainly due to his hard work in spreading the sport in a way like no one else has done before him.
Another person who has made himself known lately is Ryan Bowen from Australia, who by being extremely active on social media & Youtube has managed to grow the sport & reach out to people outside the sport in a way that no one has done before.
